James "Jim" O. Fulton, 87, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by his family on Friday, June 27, 2025. He was born January 30, 1938 in Evansville to Olvin and Dora (Hollis) Fulton. Jim was devoted to his Lord and Savior and lived his life as the hands and feet of Jesus.
He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School for 50 years and was ordained as a deacon. Jim married the love of his life, Mary Kay Walther, on June 25, 1960 and they spent the next 53 years showing others their complete love and devotion to each other. He retired from Koch Label Company and was very proud of his career. Jim also served in the US Army. He was an avid fisherman and spent many years on Kentucky Lake, and also enjoyed hunting squirrels and rabbits. Jim was the guiding light and pillar of strength for his family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife of 53 years, Mary Kay Fulton; and brothers, Glenn Fulton and Pat Fulton.
Jim is survived by his sons, Mike Fulton and Dave Fulton (Krista); daughter, Sandy Rawlinson (Nicky Cole); granddaughters, Jennifer Kueber (Ben) and Brittany Williams (Keith); great grandchildren, Braylin Williams, Hayden Kueber, and Kenyen Williams; sister, Susan Jennings (Dale); several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Ellen Bean.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Ray Deeter, with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025 and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
