James "Jim" Edward Hutchcraft

James "Jim" Edward Hutchcraft, age 93, of Chandler, Indiana passed away at his residence on Friday, July 21, 2023. He was born on March 16, 1930 in Enfield, Illinois to the late James Albert and Grace Elizabeth (Flanigan) Hutchcraft.

Jim grew up in Illinois, and had several different careers during his life. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, and working on everything mechanical. Jim also enjoyed watching RFD TV.

He is survived by his son, Rex (Shirley) Hutchcraft of Grapevine, TX; and their two daughters, Carrie (Bobby) Briggs of Ft. Worth, TX and his great granddaughters, Kylie (Kolby) Kennington of Ft. Worth, TX, Ashley Briggs of Ft. Worth, TX, and Amy (Chris) Miller of Ponder, TX and his great grandsons, Daniel and Jacob; son, Tony (Alice) Hutchcraft of Chandler, IN; brother in law, John Bullock, Sr. of Huntingburg, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Jim is preceded in death by his first wife, Loretta Marie (Storey) Hutchcraft of 14 years and his second wife of 52 years, Kathleen Jo (Bullock) Hutchcraft.

Friends and family may gather for a visitation at Alexander East Chapel on Friday, July, 28, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral services will follow the visitation at noon with final resting place at Alexander Memorial Park.
