He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1958. He was a licensed architect for 48 years, spending 11 of those years with the EVSC. Jim was a member of the Sports Car Club of America, and a veteran of the US Army.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Violet; parents, Delbert and Loretta; and nephew, Adam Wheeler.
He is survived by his sister, Doylyn Neiswinger; nieces, Gayle (Bob) Jeffers, Joy (Darri) Pinerola, and Vicki (Gary) Tichenor; and nephews, Stan (Janice) Wheeler, and Rick (Jennifer) Neiswinger.
Services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Chris Neikirk, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday, 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Adam Wheeler Memorial Fund.
