Rev. Jasper Ezra Townsend, 98, of Kissimmee, FL.,formerly of Evansville, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Kissimmee, FL. He was born December 14, 1918 to the late Jasper and Eliza (Powell) Townsend.
He was a minister at Crestview Pentecostal Church in Pacific, MO and First Pentecostal Church in Oakland City, IN. He retired from Chrysler in 1972.
Rev. Townsend was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Adele.
He is survived by son, Rev. Jack Feldbusch (Shirley); daughter, Ruth Cravens (Jerry); grandchildren, Sheri Brown (Kevin), Sheila Ham (Charles), Shelly Spain (Bill) and Scott Feldbusch (Tammy); 11 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 2:00PM, Friday, January 13, 2017, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Rev. Jack Feldbusch, with burial in Springdale Cemetery, Sebree, KY. Friends may visit 10:00AM to service time Friday at the funeral home.
