He worked for Wortman Electric and was a US Marines Veteran.
Jay was preceded in death by his wife; parents, Jerry and Mary; and brother, Kenny.
He is survived by daughters, Mariah and Diamond Richards; and siblings, Joni O’Grady, Laura Childress, Janie, Steve, and David Herron.
