Jeanne Thurgood, 86, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016, in Canton, MI with her family. She was born September 28, 1929, in Evansville, to the late Samuel and Marguerite (Deicken) Nicholson.
She graduated from Bosse High School and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Coterie Dance Club of Evansville.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Ralph Thurgood; parents; and brothers, John Kenneth and Samuel Nicholson.
She is survived by her daughter, Jana (Paul) Goit; son-in-law, John Goit; and grand-daughters, Kendall and Kylie Goit.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 25, 2016, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, officiated by Fr. Bernie Etienne, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery.
