Jerry attended Reitz High School. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and having cookouts with friends. He had a love for the Wabash River and Busch Light.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward and Eva Lois (Ausenbaugh) Evans.
Jerry is survived by brothers, Michael Evans (Diana) and Charlie Evans (Tammy); sisters, Rebecca Neikirk (Joe), Connie Dyehouse (Mike); daughter, Shelby Johnson; many nieces and nephews; uncle and aunt, Jerry and Helen Ausenbaugh and uncle Earl Thornton.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2020, at Locust Hill Cemetery, 3800 Kratzville Road, officiated by Pastor Ron Kissel, with burial to follow.
