Jo Ann Cunningham

Jo Ann’s faith and her family were the most important things in her life. She was a member of North Park Baptist Church, where she was very involved. Jo Ann was a loving and wonderful caregiver to all she met, especially her grandson, Jason. She previously worked in book keeping at St. Mary’s Hospital, McCarty’s Seed Company, and Calvary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Cunningham and her parents.

Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Janet Anderson of Evansville; son, Bob (Libby) Cunningham of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Jason Anderson, Susan (Scott) Montgomery, Holly Cunningham, and Eli Cunningham; three great-grandchildren, Allison, Blaine, and Hannah; sister, Jean (Don) Bruce of Evansville; brother, Bill (Jackie) Clayton of Plainfield, IN; and, five nieces and three nephews.

We send a huge thank you to the Unit 2900 Nursing Staff at Deaconess Hospital for their wonderful care.

Services will be 10:30 AM Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Alexander North Chapel, with Rev. Mitch Whisnant officiating, and burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday 9:30 AM until service time at the funeral home.
