She was employed at Wal-Mart.
Jo Ellen is survived by her son, Jerry Purvis of Louisville, KY; daughter, Angela Parson of Newburgh; and grandchildren, Aaron and Amber Purvis and Harley Long.
Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, February 7, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Fr. Bernie Etienne with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
