Joann retired in 1999 from Keller Crescent Company after 24 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, sewing, and decorating.
Joann was preceded in death by her mother, Lorena Redmond.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Schmitt; daughter, Paula Aussin, her husband Jorge; son, Gary Schmitt, his wife Vicky; grandchildren, Amber and Steve Fisher, Lindsey Schmitt, and Briget Aussin; great grandson, Aidan Schmitt Fisher; sisters, Lois Bryant and Betty Chandler; nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held.
