Joanne Moss

Joanne Moss, 88, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Walnut Creek. She was born on October 23, 1934 in Evansville, IN. Joanne was an avid boater with her husband and they spent many years at Eddy Creek in Barkley Lake. She enjoyed collecting antiques, watching birds, cross stitching and sewing. Her favorite thing was being outdoors. Joanne always hosted family Christmas at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Eugene Moss; daughter; Cindy Moss; mother, Anne Moore and sisters, Sue Bogan and Barbara Brown. Joanne is survived by her sisters, Linda Allen and Nancy Edwards; nephew and caregivers, Tony and Theresa Bogan; several other nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at Alexander North Chapel with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society.
