

A proud West Sider, John lived a full and active life. He excelled in wrestling and football during his high school years and went on to serve his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. After a successful career as a Regional Sales Manager with Kimberly-Clark, John retired at the young age of 55, embracing a life of leisure and friendships. John’s love for the water often found him on his boat at Kentucky Lake. John was known for his love of card games, his organizational skills, and the joy he found in socializing with his lifelong buddies. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend admired by many for his warm personality and unwavering loyalty.
He is survived by his children, Ted Rebstock (Justin), Nick Rebstock (Susan), Becky Brann (Mike), Vicky Prencavage (Mike), and Holly Harrison; grandchildren, Nash Garrett, Seth Garrett, Troy Rebstock, Shelly Rebstock, Jayson Harrison, Samantha Myrick (Dave), Mitchell Prencavage (Sasha), and Joelle Widdup (Jon); great-grandchildren, Ty, Nicholas, Noah, Kailei, Dominic, and Corbin; siblings, Larry Riels, Mary Helen Cribb; niece, Linda Gray (Tommy); as well as several extended family members and cherished friends, including his poker buddies of 60 years.
John was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, Roberta; and his sister, Shirley.
In accordance with John’s wishes, no services will be held. His final resting place will be at Alexander Memorial Park.
