John S. Yarger

John served in the US Air Force.

He was in the restaurant business for most of his life.

John was most recently employed by the Indiana State Board of Health as a meat inspector.

He loved horses, hunting, and fishing.

John was a member of Northside Congregational Church.

John was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy T. Yarger and sister, Pauline Biggs.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jeannette M. (Strueh) Yarger; sons, James W. and John A. Yarger; sister, Lora May Williams; and nieces, Sonya Summers, Sylvia Gill, Joan Boswell and Janice Gerry.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Northside Congregational Church, 820 W. Mt. Pleasant Road, officiated by Dr. Daniel Dunivan, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel and Thursday from 9:30 AM until service time at the church.
