Judith L. Oldham

Judith L. (Hitch) Oldham, 73, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born July 26, 1941, in Evansville, IN to the late Joseph and Ruth (Caton) Hitch.

She attended Soul Harbor Baptist Church and was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt and friend.

Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Allen Oldham, whom she married in 1959; parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Preston and Loretta (Freels) Oldham; twin brother, William E. Hitch; and sister, Linda J. Sappington.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas Oldham of Evansville and Scott (Linda) Oldham of Vincennes, IN; grandchildren, Joseph Oldham of Evansville and Dakota Mosley of Vincennes, IN; sister-in-law, Betty Hitch of Evansville; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Duke Hampsch, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
