She was a member of Mill Road Baptist Church for many years.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; and a brother.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harlan Gilbert; sons Rick, Randall (Martha), and Roger Gilbert; grandchildren Zachary (Paulina) Gilbert and Danny Gilbert; sisters, Pearl (Glenn) Gilbert and Mary Lou (Raymond) Watson; and a brother, James Hunter in Hammond, IN.
Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor Dane Gray, with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
