Kelzie M. Canary, age 28, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Born on March 28, 1996, in Evansville, she was the beloved daughter of Jamie Lynn Canary and Nathan Masner.
A graduate of West High in Tennessee, Kelzie dedicated her career to caring for others as a compassionate caretaker at Home Health Care. Known for her radiant spirit and heart of gold, Kelzie was a devoted mother who cherished every moment with her children, Ahliejah, Ahmoney, Admire, and Ahnali. Her generosity knew no bounds; she regularly reached out to those in need, providing blankets to the homeless and sharing her warmth with anyone she could help.
Kelzie had a flair for beauty and self-expression, always dazzling with her lashes, nails, hair, and makeup. Her connection to her spiritual side was deeply important to her, and she found joy in sharing her spiritual journey with others. Family was at the core of her being, and she was a unifying force, organizing and planning gatherings to bring her loved ones together. A great listener and a spirited soul, Kelzie's love for her family, especially her close bond with her brother, Aneas Dulin, was evident. She was fiercely protective of him, like a momma bear, and cherished their relationship deeply.
Kelzie is survived by her children who were her most prized possessions, Ahliejah, Ahmoney, Admire, and Ahnali; her mother, Jamie Lynn Canary; her father, Nathan Masner; her brother, Aneas (Danielle Burress) Dulin; her nephews, Ah'siah Dulin, Az'akhi Dulin, and Az'ahmir Dulin; her niece, Aaliyah Bell; aunts, uncles and cousins by the dozen; and many many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Teddy and Patricia Canary. Her grandaddy, Teddy, was like a father to her, and their special bond deeply influenced her life. He instilled important values in her and played a pivotal role in shaping the person she became.
