

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired after 37 years of service with L&N Railroad as a switchman foreman. After retirement, Kenny still loved to work, he built three homes and a houseboat on Barkley Lake where he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of West Side Church of Christ.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Marian Whitledge.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Bessie V. (Beckham) Veeck; sons, Kenneth W. Veeck (Linda) of Elberfeld, Tommy D. Veeck (Jill) and Danny L. Veeck (Lisa) of Evansville; grandchildren, Kenneth W. Veeck II, Rachel Veeck, Kelsey Calderone, Danny S. Veeck, Jamie Head; 6 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Jack Veeck and Curt Veeck.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, August 14, 2017, at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Pastor Larry Albritton with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit 11:00 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
