Larry Bert Hooper, 65, of Evansville, IN passed away peacefully on September 1, 2024 losing his battle with esophageal cancer. Larry was born to Earl C. and Betty Ann (Lickey) Hooper on September 19, 1958. He was in the 1976 graduating class of Central High School.
Larry enjoyed historical documentaries, cooking, playing pool and watching football as a Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans fan.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents as well as brothers, Chip, David and Gary.
He is survived by his children, Matthew (Jill) Hooper, Melissa (Tyler) Weston, Autumn (Kyle) Daugherty, Austin Hooper; grandchildren, Sam, Aidan, Eli, Harper, Zayin, Julius-Francis, Vincent; sister, Gloria (Bob) Moneer, Charlie (Cindy) Hooper, Debbie (Chip) Hooper; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois St., Evansville IN, 47712.
