Larry graduated in 1964 after attending both Old Central High School and North High School. He is a Vietnam Veteran who served two tours as a Navy Seal. Larry worked at Whirlpool for 41 years. He was an American Legion Member, artist, and enjoyed woodworking.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Wendell Wilke, Wayne Wilke, and Stephen Malzahn.
Larry is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carla Wilke; son, Christopher Wilke (Amy); daughter, Laurie Wilke; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services conducted by Celebrant Carrie Hatchett will be held 12:00 PM on February 23, 2018, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2018, and 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday, February 23, 2018, at the Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank the staff at OHA, Chemo Buddies and the Oncology Wing nurses at St. Vincent Hospital.
