He was a member of AMVETS and served in the Army during the Korean War as a demolition expert. He retired from ALCOA after 34 years of service. He loved offshore fishing at Panama City Beach and basting in the sun. He also enjoyed golfing, photography, and spending time with his friends and family at Leroy’s.
Dale was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Allen Vaught; and special friend, Ellen Campbell.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra J. Waelde (Robert); son, Devin T. Vaught (Andrea); grandchildren, Travis and Trevor Arvin, Mason and Chase Waelde, Devin T. Vaught II and Ashley Paige Whitney; step-grandchildren, Alisha Didia and Ryan Waelde; 11 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Judy Lampton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
