Lester Thomas Floyd Jr.

Lester, also known as “Papaw Peanut” and “Big Jr.” was a jokester, having “big belly laughs.” He loved the outdoors, fishing and camping. He referred to himself as the “animal whisperer” and the “reaper.” Lester was a movie fanatic and enjoyed playing video games. He would always have a smile and overall, was a good man. He would help anyone in need and always took care of others before himself.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Mary Jo Floyd and Stella Maxine Ritter; brother, Sterling Gunhammer; and brother-in-law, Kevin.

Lester is survived by his children, Nikita Floyd-Langston, Damion Floyd, Katherine Lee (Tiffany), Marko Hayes, Jasmine Rice, and Destiny Kimmel; grandchildren, Johnathin, Mykel, Christopher, Alexzander, Eli, Abel-Jordan, Skylar; girlfriend, Jennifer Allan; siblings, Terri Terry, Angela Skinner, Lisa Floyd (Daryl Bassmeier), Lester “P. WEE” Floyd III, Lori Gunhammer and Debbie Barrera (Mark); and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be private.
