Lester was a member of Christ Gospel Church in Evansville.
He retired from Faultless Caster, after 37 years in 1985, as a tool and die maker.
Lester loved to work in his garden.
Lester is survived by his wife of 43 years, Leona (Miller) Norman; daughters, Diane Gates (Ron) and Vicky Goller (Bob); son, Mike Wilson (Linda); grandchildren, Dana Franz and James Gates; six great grandchildren; sisters, Jenetta Gaskins, Nina Burton, and Nan Cox.
Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 19, 2012, at Christ Gospel Church, officiated by Rev. Sharon Spicer, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 1:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home and Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
