She was a graduate of North High School. Linda had been a member of Grace Southern Baptist Church for over 45 years. She loved traveling and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert McCarty and Hazel (Wilburn); two sons, Ronnie Foster and Kelly Foster; two sisters, Roberta McCorkle and Saundra Schneider; and two brothers, Charles McCarty and George “Red” McCarty.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Kelsey Foster and Kadie Foster; two granddaughters, Holly Foster and Haley Foster; two sisters, Bonnie (Adams) Steward and Deborah Kincade (Jack); and her former husband, John Foster.
There will be no services at Alexander West Chapel. Burial will be held at Alexander Memorial Park at a later date.
