Lois (Gentry) Fischer

Lois was the manager at the 5 and Dime in Rockport, IN in her early years. She was a wife, mother and homemaker. She was a caregiver at Caretenders. Lois loved quilting, sewing and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, James Howard (Helen) Gentry, and Charles Allen Gentry; three brothers-in-law; and four sisters-in-law.

Lois is survived by her son, Michael S. (Sandy) Fischer; daughter, Debra A. Brown; grandchildren, Anna Fischer, Robert Springer, April (Chase) Gushing, and Amanda (David) Lanham; great grandsons, Kyler Gushing and Archer Lanham; cousins, PD (Susie) Frank, Jamie Frank; sister-in-law, Delores Fischer. Lois also leaves many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2021, at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Pastor Tom Hubachek with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 29, 2021, and Monday, 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.
