

Lorna N. Niemiller, 93, of Evansville, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015, at Evansville Protestant Home. She was born November 13, 1921, in Cuba, MO, to the late Frederick and Emma Kathryn (Biller) Hertlein.
She was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer and had been a beautician for over 40 years. She was an avid Bridge player, a St. Louis Cardinals fan, a devoted Aces fan, and had her picture in Sports Illustrated. She was crazy about her 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Lorna was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Mae Sebastian; and brothers, Oscar and Edwin Hertlein.
She is survived by her sons, Kirk (Carolyn) Niemiller of Tullahoma, TN, and Mark Niemiller of Lafayette, IN; daughters, Karen (Jim) Radford of Crown Point, IN, and Kathryn (John) Lever of Evansville; grandchildren, Donna (Lowell) Ramey, Tom Niemiller; Eric Niemiller; Jim Radford; Kendra (Jim) Tustison, Kelly Radford, Matthew Niemiller, Ryan Niemiller, Trent Niemiller, Kayla Niemiller, Barbara (Ryan) Stroud, and Scott (Amanda) Lever; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Frances Yeary of Steelville, MO and Dorothy Steffen of Franklin, NC.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Tom Wenig, with entombment in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
