Louanna Young, beloved wife of Dr. Claude Curtis Young, Jr., passed away peacefully on December 19, 2011, in Gulf Breeze, FL. She was born September 9, 1914, and had just celebrated her 97th birthday.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tom Young; and great-granddaughter, Erin McGuane.
Louanna is survived by her son, Claude Curtis Young III; daughter, Susan Young Hardwick, both of Navarre, FL; five grandchildren, Holly (Young) and Scott McGuane of Lewisville, TX, Cy IV and Leesa Young of Evansville, Mike and Christina Hardwick of Tampa, FL, Curtis and Erica Hardwick of Edwards, CA, and Brian Hardwick of Korea; and great-grandchildren, Alex, Audrey and Emma McGuane, Cy V and Samantha Young, Megan and Evan Hardwick.
Visitation will be Friday, December 23, 2011, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel. No services will be held.
