

Lucy M. Lohmann, 90, a beautiful woman inside and out, of Newburgh, IN passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at her home. She was born on April 20, 1935, in Cedar Hill, TN to the late Prentice and Esther (Duff) Baggett.
Lucy was a former member of the Methodist Temple, where she and her husband were married. Later in life, she worked at American General for 10 years. Lucy was an excellent cook and loved being a mother and caring for her family.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.Roy Lohmann; and sister, Laverne Moore.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Lohmann and Jennifer Nisley (Larry); son, George Lohmann (Cindy); grandchildren, Adam Nisley (Bekah), Ashlee Walsh (Nick), Andrew Nisley, Jacquelyn Fleming (Emily), and Jay Lohmann; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Wilkinson (Walter); and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave., Evansville, IN 47714 with Pastor Greg Davis officiating. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. to service time on Thursday at the funeral home.

The family would like to give special thanks to her close friend, Diane and to Compassus Hospice, especially Leslie Gasser, Gracie Roberts, and Chaplain Tim Gerbig. Lucy really enjoyed visiting with Jen and her dog, Oakley.
