Marilyn attended Reitz High School and University of Evansville. Marilyn worked at Rogers Jewelers, and Camelot Jewelers for many years. Marilyn was best working in her flower garden and loving her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Scottie Gores; son, Scottie Paul; daughter, Orn; parents, Arthur and Vetrise Dick, and her beloved pets Morgan and Bayley.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Doug, Greg, Richard, Guy, Casey, Angie, Debbie and Amy; grandchildren, Jason, Josh, Chase, Rhiannon (Nick), Emily, Dakota (Olivia), Mallory and Cheyenne; 13 great grandchildren, and brother, Danny Dick (Jo).
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Southern Care Hospice, especially “Lynn” and Dr. Neil Troost. The care provided was exceptional.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 7th 2021 at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel officiated by close friend Charles Hyatt with burial to follow. Friends may visit 9:00 a.m. until service time at the Chapel.
