

Marjorie served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Welborn Baptist Hospital from 1986 to 1999 where she also focused on early childhood development and care. She served as Executive Director of Welborn Baptist Foundation, Inc. until 2009. She was Chairman of Evansville Metal Products. She was a Director at Old National Bancorp., since 1993.
She had a BS degree in Biology at Illinois Institute of Technology and also a MBA from University of Evansville. She was a trustee and served on the Board of Directors at U of E for many years.
Marjorie previously served on the Board of Directors at Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and currently on the Board of Directors of Old National Bank, Southwestern Healthcare, Youth First of Evansville, and WNIN. She was the proud recipient of the Business Hall of Fame (2009) and Athena Award (2010).
Marjorie was passionate about gardening and her roses. She shared her roses with many. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling around the world. She planned and hosted many extravagant dinner parties for friends and family.
Marjorie led by example, not one to direct or boss. Her values were unquestionable; stability, common sense, graciousness, hard work, honesty, strong ethics, good morals, and devoted to family. She was a true partner to her husband and all they endeavored - family, business, and friends. She was a best friend, aunt, mentor, and mom to many. We have been shaped and influenced by her life, love, and vitality.
