Martha Alfreda “Freda” Bailey, 92, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Linda E. White Hospice House. She was born November 4, 1925 in Smith Mills, KY to the late Alfred and Mary L. (Rapp) Turner.
In 1946, she married Frank Bailey in Robinson, IL. Martha was an avid bowler and loved playing clabber. She loved watching her grandkids, Karin and Ryan when they were young.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Frank L. Bailey; son, David P. Bailey, and sister, Mary Evelyn Turner.
She is survived by son, Fred (Susan) Bailey; grandchildren, Karin (Gary) VanWey, and Ryan (Alice) Bailey, and great-grandchild, Ayden and Brooklyn VanWey and Cody Bailey.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00AM, Friday, October 5, 2018 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Fr. Ted Tempel, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit 2:00 to 6:00PM, Thursday October 4, 2018 at the funeral home.
