Mary C Burns

Mary was a hair stylist and enjoyed making her clients beautiful. She was a member of St. James West. She had strong faith and was ready to go home to be with the Lord. Mary enjoyed spending time with family and loved cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Christine DeCorrevont; and son, Denny Burnett.

Mary is survived by her husband, Bill Burns; sons, Lonnie Burnett, Bill Burnett (Kim), and Chris Helm; grandchildren, Alisha, Justin, Kristal, Hannah, Adi, Leah, Amanda and Lacey; great-grandchildren; Eli, Ty, Khy, Kloee, Kameron, Lily, Kyle and Charlotte; sisters, Connie Elmeier-Mabee, Debbie Cissna, Kimberly Hardin and Angela DeCorreont; and brothers, Robert DeCorrevont, Scott DeCorrevont and Gary DeCorrevont.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor Gene Backes followed by burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
