She was a longtime seamstress and she loved to sew and quilt. She liked to play her organ and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was an outdoors person and loved to fish, garden and watch the trees change in the fall.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; son, Ross Lemon; daughter, Tonya Lemon; and grandson, Jeffrey Lemon.
She is survived by her daughters, Gatha (Charles) Hohman and Malessia Lemon; sons, Leonard Lemon, Sr. and Steve (Myra) Lemon, Sr.; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and brothers, Larry and Gerald Howard.
Services will be 1:30 PM Friday, October 18, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel. Friends may visit Friday from 11:30 AM until service time at the funeral home.
