She retired from the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation where she had taught at Hebron, Tekoppel, and Lincoln Elementary Schools. Mary was a member of Fairlawn United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital and enjoyed knitting and traveling.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Frank B. Stevenson in 2001.
Mary is survived by her son, David Stevenson (Lori); grandchildren, Kendra Leinbaugh (Nathan) and Jacob Stevenson; life partner, Bill Miller; sister, Doris Grabhorn (Al); and a niece and nephew.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Alexander East Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
