She retired from Deaconess Hospital after 23 years as a senior nurse’s assistant. She was a very talented dancer and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mary Anna was preceded in death by her husband, William “Glenn” Strahl; and first husband, Fred Greene.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Tisdale; sons, Ron (Bonnie), Tim, Elza Joe (Debbie), and Bryon (Terri) Greene; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Pat and Alvin Hayes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Alexander Memorial Park in Heritage Chapel, with entombment to follow. Friends may visit Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 West Illinois Street, and Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time in the cemetery chapel.
