She worked for 30 years as an ASL Interpreter for the EVSC. She loved crossword puzzles, crocheting, reading, studying history (especially the Civil War), talking, chocolate, wine, and cheese. She also loved dogs.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Pollyanna Notter; sister, Pollyanna Russell; soul mate, A.J. Vaughn; and dogs, Nikki, Speedy, and Opie.
She is survived by her daughter, Billie Jean (Don) Sorrell; son, George (Candy) Acuff; daughter, Valeria Vaughn; son-in-law, Randy Notter; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren,
Memorial Services will be 5:00 PM Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Alexander East Chapel. Friends may visit Saturday from 3:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
