Mary Edna West

Mary E. West, 91, of Evansville, passed away Monday, January 04, 2016, at Bethel Manor. She was born to the late Orlan and Flossie Oliver. Mary was proud to have worked at Chrysler building planes to support the war effort. She was a homemaker and loved cooking, sewing, flowers, traveling, reading, and being with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Charles West; three brothers; and three sisters. Mary is survived by her daughters, Sandra Happe and Vicki (Paul) Donaldson; son, Alan (Deborah) West; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Terry Gamblin, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Bethel Manor for their care.
