Mike joined the US National Guard right out of high school where he served four years as a Mechanic in the 163rd Field Artillery. Won’t forget the first time Mike welcomed us (my Pop and me) to his home for Christmas with his family. He had a big heart. I’ll always be thankful for the stand up man Mike was; always being a solid dad-figure in Nic’s life. And admiring how precious Brittney was to her daddy...that’s a beautiful thing. Sending prayers and care to all the Lee family.

Mike always fixed my cars for me. This one time my car just stopped running while I was driving home from work. Just so happened there was snow on the roads and it was very cold out. I couldn’t go anywhere. So I called Mike. Fortunately he answered. He stayed on the phone with me. Talked with me until the car had time for the computer to reset itself, at least that’s what he said it did, and started. Then he talked me out of the iced snow bank I was now stuck in. That was just one of the millions of Mike’s many rescues I could tell you about. As a “ big sister” I have plenty!! I love you Mike. Always have. Always will!

Always remembered Mike best for his nice trucks which were always clean and shined up, he always had grease under his fingernails from his mechanic job. Mike enjoyed it when I would find a new dessert recipe to try and would take some to him to try. I think of him often and he will certainly be missed. Have been praying for comfort for his family in this difficult time and that God's Grace will shine down upon them and give them peace.
