She was a graduate of Bosse High School. She took great care in her home and was a loving mother. Mildred was a member of the Evansville Country Club and the Kennel Club. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, horseracing, fishing, baseball and following the sports of her children and grandchildren. She spent her winters in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, James O. Lynch; and sister, Helen M. Ortmeyer.
She is survived by her sons, Robert M. Lynch, and wife Barbara, and Thomas P. Lynch, and wife Donna, all of Evansville; grandchildren, Jason Lynch (Jackie), Ryan Lynch (Joelle), James Lynch (Wendy), David Lynch (Michelle) and Julia Ray (Marshall); 11 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Evan, Elise, Thomas, Wesley, Natalie, Madeline, Emerson, Patrick, Hilary and Eliza; and niece, Diane Whipkey (Jim) of Evansville.
A private funeral will be held, officiated by Rev. Glyn Pfohl, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
