Nicholas Stephen Imes

Nick graduated from Evansville Lutheran School, Bosse High School and the University of Southern Indiana, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He worked at Fifth Third Bank for nearly six years before joining State Farm Insurance in January 2006. He travelled across the country as a Catastrophe Services Claim Representative. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his half-sister, Traci (Imes) Siddall; and grandparents, Welzie and Hildred Jackson, Thomas and Bertha Imes and Gene Goad.

Nick is survived by his parents, Stephen and Lynne Imes of Evansville; brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Andrea Flesch Imes; nephews, Jackson and Connor Imes, all of Effingham, IL; fiancé, Krista Norman of Evansville; grandmother, Gloria Goad Adams of Carmi, IL; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to thank Nick’s Phi Delta brothers from all across the country who have wrapped us in their love and support. He loved all of you.

A service celebrating Nick’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 23, 2011, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 100 East Michigan, officiated by Rev. Walter Ullman, with burial in Lutheran Cemetery, 1305 North St. Joseph Avenue. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, and Monday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.
