

Norma Jean Cobb, 96, of Evansville, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Envive Healthcare. She was born on August 17, 1927, in Rossville, Illinois to the late Raymond and Glodene (Phillips) Holland.
Norma worked for 19 years at Indiana Bell; 15 years at Charles Leich Company; and retired from the Pollux Company. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan and enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and being with her grandchildren. Norma was very strong in her faith and an active member of her church, St. Mark’s Lutheran. She taught Sunday School, and was active in Bible School and the Kitchen Band. She was a loving mom and Nonie.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Cobb; her son, Ronnie Cobb; and her sister, Wanda Hoffman.
She is survived by her daughter, Missy Cobb; grandchildren, Stephanie Alexander (Aaron), Dalton Cobb, and Courtney Cobb; great grandchild, Emma Alexander; nephew, Randy Hoffman (Jeni); and daughter-in-law, Rhonda Cobb.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Don Gray, with burial in Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
