

Otto Marshall Hudnall our husband and father went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at his home. He was born and raised in West Virginia. At the age of 16 he moved to Evansville with his brother Edgar, deceased.
He worked for Bucyrus Erie, Arkla Industries, and Burt’s shoe store. Otto was a tank commander in the National Guard.
Otto loved baseball, where he got the nickname ‘Hot Ott’, horse shoes, bowling, fishing, and was an avid pool player. He had won many contests and awards for these activities. He enjoyed gardening.
He was a member of West Side and Oak Hill Church of Christ.
Otto is survived by his wife of 58 years, Phyllis (Fisher) Hudnall; son, David Hudnall (Nancy); son, Jeffrey Hudnall (Anita); daughter, Ann Kay Newcomb (Gauer); grandchildren, April Gauer, Michael Gauer, Amy Holland, Amanda Donaldson, Matt Hudnall, Chad Hudnall, Jill Gelhausen, Allison Berger, Nathan Tillotson, Paul Tillotson, and Sarah McGee; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Hudnall; brother, Vernon Hudnall; sister, Georgia Persinger; sister, Juanita Gilbert; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, officiated by Minister Dan Wade with entombment to follow. Friends may visit Friday from 2 to 8 pm at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street.
