Patricia Diane Grimm

Patricia D. (Carlisle) Grimm, 68, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born October 31, 1945, in Evansville, IN to Gammon G. and Betty A. (Nelson) Carlisle.

Her mission in life was to help others. She was compassionate, caring and strong in her faith, and active in Bible Study Fellowship. She was an avid antique collector and loved going to auctions and garage sales.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Stroud; son, Scott Alan Stroud; father, Gammon G. Carlisle; brother, Mark Kent Carlisle; and nephew, Mark Scott Carlisle.

She is survived by her brothers, G. Michael (Linda) and Greg G. (Debbie) Carlisle; sisters, Susan (Steve) Sanders, Cheryl (John Mathews) Carlisle and Betty Lea Carlisle; mother, Betty A. Carlisle; dear friend, Jim Knight; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 1:00 PM Friday, May 9, 2014, at Alexander North Chapel, with Arlene Swinford officiating. Friends may visit Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
