Patricia "Patty" Ann Brown

Patricia Ann “Patty” Hollander Brown, 75, of Evansville, Indiana passed away peacefully Sunday, November 26, 2023 at the Linda E. White Hospice House. She was born on January 5, 1948 in Evansville, IN to the late Leroy A. Hollander and Eleanor (Ford) Hollander. Patty graduated from Reitz High School in 1966. She worked as a surgical tech at Deaconess and as a print inspector at Creative Press. She was very artistic and loved drawing and painting. She also enjoyed cooking and loved her pets. Patty loved spending time with her family and friends, and lived for her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy A. and Eleanor Hollander; brother, Leroy F. Hollander (Beverly); and nephew, Steven Hollander. Patty is survived by her daughter, Le’Ann Sloan (Greg); son, Chris Brown; grandchildren, Justin Sloan (Courtney), Sarah Sloan (Doug Williams), Katie Sloan-Paul, Spencer Sloan, Maddie Brown, Steven Brown, and Audrey Jane “AJ” Brown; great-grandson, Ezra Williams; nieces, Barb DeWeese (Denny), and Susan Hollander. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN, officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin. Friends and family may visit on Friday, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at Alexander Memorial Park.
