Patricia "Pat" Thompson

Patricia J. Thompson, 81, of Evansville, went home to be with the Lord and reunited with Jerry on Thursday, June 2, 2022. She was born on January 10, 1941 in Buckskin, Indiana to the late Chris and Lula (Munnier) Buck.

She retired from State Farm Insurance after 20 years. Pat was a founding and very active member of The Assembly where she had been the leader of the Women’s Ministry. She loved to quilt, shop, spend time with her grandkids, and being involved with church functions. Pat loved the Lord and was an anchor and compass for her family.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jerry Thompson; daughter, Carla Gibbs; a brother and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Jeremy Thompson (Ashley); grandchildren, Katrina Guynn (Wayne), Casey Marquis, Cody Thompson, and Dillinger Thompson; great-grandchildren, Kinleigh, Wyatt, and Kaleena; and sister, Shirley Higginson.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2022 at The Assembly with Pastor Glyn Pfohl officiating. Burial will follow at Somerville Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at Alexander Funeral Home.
