Patrick “Pat” I. Pittman, Sr., 77, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Deaconess Hospital. He was born September 20, 1937, in Evansville, to the late Homer V. and Isabelle (Hicks) Pittman.
He was a bus driver for the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation for 41 years. Pat loved this career and didn’t consider it a job. He was also a US Army Veteran.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael Pittman.
He is survived by his significant other, Rebecca Lynn Elliott; sons, Patrick I. (Karen) Pittman II and John Gisler; step-daughters, Dawn Elliott and Jodi Elliott-Hale; grandchildren, Justice, Pressley, and Nation Pittman, and Andrew, Katherine, Caroline, and Clara Gisler; sister-in-law, Linda Pittman; and nieces, Bonnie and Kim Pittman.
Private Funeral Services will be held, officiated by Pastor C. Marion Brown. Friends may visit Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel.
