Patti S. Coleman

She began her career with the Evansville Courier & Press in 1957 when she was a senior at Bosse High School serving as a feature writer and section editor. After taking a break to raise her children, Patti returned to work for the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation where she was a secretary at Perry Heights Middle School and the Public Relations Director for EVSC. Patti later worked as a Sales Executive for Ten Adams where she retired as Executive Vice President. Patti was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Paul L. Smith.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Larry J. Coleman; daughter, Lori (Coleman) Glaser (John); son, Lee Coleman (Rachel); the magnificent seven grandchildren; Logan Howell (Amber), Luke Brown, Daniel Glaser (Taylor), Katie Coleman, Elizabeth Coleman, Anna Coleman, and Hallie Coleman; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, with Pastor Bill Altman officiating. Friends and family are invited to a reception prior to the memorial service from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
