Patty loved flowers, gardening and animals. She adored being with her family and raised her grandson and great grandson. She was a very giving person.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elzie Jones; son, Dannie Jones, Sr.; great grandson, Dannie Jones III; brothers, Jerry, Wendell and Sammy Maxwell; and her beloved cat, Sassy.
Patty is survived by her son, David Jones (Deborah Neuendorf); grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Kedric Jones (Ronnii), Rachel Jones, LaShana Jones and Dannie Jones II; great grandchildren, Dixie and Stephanie; and sister, Kay Thompson.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Pastor Kedric Jones, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park.
