He proudly served in the US Army and went on to own and operate his own trucking company for many years. Paul was a Hot Rod enthusiast and collector.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Franklin Cooper.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Cooper; son, Paul Mackie Cooper; daughter, Sheena Cooper Davidson; two granddaughters; and a sister, Jean Taylor (Mark).
No public services will be held at Alexander East Chapel.
