 Obituario de Paul A Kelley
Paul A. Kelley, 95, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019, at his home. He was born on June 25, 1924 to Giles W. and Mary (Brack) Kelley in Evansville, Indiana. Paul served in WWII in the Pacific Theatre as a Tech Sergeant, Army Signal Corp. He and his son, Steve flew two years ago on the Honor Flight to Washington, DC. He worked for thirty plus years in Quality Control at Whirlpool. Paul was a 50-year member of Lessing Lodge. He was also a member of the Hadi Shrine, Scottish Rite and a lifetime member of the VFW #1114. Paul attended the Methodist Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Lucille “Johnnie” Kelley; two brothers and a sister. Paul is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jennie Kelley; children, Steve and Janet Kelley of Corydon, IN; Paula and Jerry Hall of Evansville; and Nancy and Edward Whobrey of Evansville; stepchildren, Charles and Kathi Tooley of Berne, IN, Nancy and Chuck Hawkins of Newburgh, IN, and Sharon Cywinski of North Vernon, IN; 13 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Janet Kelley, with burial in and Military Rites conducted by Vanderburgh Retired Veterans at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home; where Lessing Masonic Lodge # 464 will conduct Masonic Services at 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
