

Raymond Lee Ripplemeier Sr., age 83, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on October 7, 2025. He was born on March 17, 1942, in Evansville to the late Ralph Raymond Ripplemeier and Marjorie (Howe) Ripplemeier.
Raymond was a proud graduate of Reitz High School, Class of 1960. At the age of 21, he began his career at Whirlpool Corporation, where he worked faithfully until his retirement at age 60. He also served his country as a member of the Army National Guard.
Raymond found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid golfer and looked forward each year to his annual golf trip with friends. One of his favorite pastimes was sitting on the back porch, taking in the peace of nature—especially watching the hummingbirds he loved so much. He also enjoyed spending time at the VFW, sharing stories and laughter with lifelong friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Julie Taggart and her husband Jim; his son, Raymond Lee Ripplemeier Jr. and his wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Michael Wallace, Justin Kingsbury, Thomas Kingsbury, Darian Ripplemeier; great grandchildren, Brielle Jackson, Waylon Kingsbury; and close friend, Barbara Clements and her children Christopher and Joshua Clements.
Raymond is preceded in death by his wife Darly Ripplemeier, and brother, Roy Ripplemeier.
Per his wishes, no services will be held. Raymond’s final resting place will be at Alexander Memorial Park in the Chapel of Remembrance along with his wife Darly.
